Assembly New York

Lower East Side

Assembly New York has recently moved a few doors down from their originally dimly lit narrow space to a new bright and large store that is filled with the International designers and local talent that they are known for. Opened by the fashion savvy Greg Armas (formally of Scout shop), Assembly is a place to find unique luxury styles.

Artisan pieces can be found from A Detacher, Risto Bimbiloski, Complex Geometries, Ian R.N., and Mandy Coon and range from $75-$600+. Upon entering you are surrounded by many different styles in mostly neutrals and solids in varying lux textures and contemporary cuts. Favorites include an alpaca cardigan from A Detacher ($650), a silk long sleeve from Mandy Coon ($208), and marbled denim from Them Atelier ($80).

Mixed in with the clothing are great accessories and vintage details. A statement-making large fringe knotted necklace from Mono ($320) can be found near a great selection of retro-inspired sunglasses and sequin wallets. A small collection of unique home accessories can be found, including whimsical handmade glass terrariums ($340).

Assembly is a great spot to splurge on a unique piece that is hard-to-find elsewhere and a definite stop to check out their great selection of accessories and eye for vintage inspiration.
