MoMo SoHo

SoHo

After spending ten years in the East Village, Momo Falana became MoMo SoHo after moving West and relocating their hand-dyed designs to the SoHo streets. MoMo SoHo is a bright, eclectic boutique with colorful silk prints and a bold interior, bringing their handmade garments to life for their numerous celebrity and neighborhood fans.

The minds behind the classic Sex and the City coat and Grammy's dress, are husband-and-wife duo Maureen Roberts and Michael Lublin. They began experimenting with dying vintage slips and quickly became a fashion favorite with individual color combinations in sexy cuts. Long flowing dresses topped with spaghetti straps all have a unique tie-dye pattern that are reminiscent of watercolor paintings. Most pieces are soothing tones with inspiration from the ocean or forest, with a few vibrant pops of electric hues. Prices range from $50-$800, with most gowns between $300-$600. They are perfect pieces for special occasions - including bridal - and come in a variety of styles. Not only can the MoMo SoHo duo make custom orders, but they offer tailoring in-house to ensure an exquisite piece for everyone.

The owners are incredibly friendly and passionate, and they continue to make new designs and experiment with new seasonal color palettes. MoMo SoHo is a definite must for anyone who wants a unique piece with a handmade touch and will ensure you stand out in a crowd.
